Yellow and an award...

I know, this is crazy. Two posts in one day. Well the IMT challenge this week is yellow. It seems I don't use yellow much in the things I've done and I've had trouble thinking of something to make so I'm just going to go with yellow in nature which is my favorite topic anyway.

On another note, a lovely lady, Patti, who has not one but many blogs with different topics has awarded me with this:

1) I have to pick 7 of my favorite blogs

2) The winner can put the logo on their blog

3) Link the person you received your award from

4) Nominate at least 7 other blogs.

5) Put links of those blogs on yours.

6) Leave a message on the blogs of the ones you’ve nominated.

It's very hard to narrow it down and I couldn't decide if I should worry about sites I love but have already won this award so I'm going to try to stick with ones who I don't think have had it yet:

Lauren is an adorable little girl who has her very own blog so her mother can have her blog back.

Rebecca is one of my best friends who is also very talented.

Misti who is another friend of mine and takes the most wonderful pictures of her adorable son.

Chris who is Misti's husband and has stepped out there to expose some of his innermost thoughts and I admire that.

Stephanie who also puts herself out there and is an inspiration

Well, I guess that's just five. I can't find two more that haven't already won it and there are just too many that I like to narrow it down so go check out some of the ones in my favorites list to the right. Do it now before I add some more on there. ;-)

Hi Laurel! What a pleasure to spend a few minutes feasting on your blog. Your photography is stunning and your artwork diverse. The dialogue with your cat had me howling!! I hope you don't mind if I link you because I'd love to visit often and send others over to see you.

I think you did yellow very well here. I love the photos. And I am just noticing how well the many shades of yellow go together, from pale cream to sun bright to ochre. I think yellow might be a very complicated color.

Lovely yellows. I have yet to capture an image of a butterfly as well as you have

I like your butterfly photo. Good color and authentic presentation = I can virtually see it flitting from flower to flower.
