I pulled out my Gelli plate and started playing. Needed some inspiration so checked out Pinterest for a bit and saw a new video available from Gelli with some great tips for painting layers. Check it out here.

I decided to give it a whirl but with a tree. I'm not done but here's my progress.

These are the other two I started. Hopefully more play time next weekend.

These are really nice. I particularly like the tree. The colors pop.
Thx Quilter Beth!
Hi Laurel,
I have not bought the gelli plate yet. I intend to but I'm concentrating on shower and wedding right now. I love what you are doing with the plate. It really looks like fun. Also I want to make sure you know it's not me with the cancer. My husband has been fighting it for a few years.
I hope you are ok. I read you were stuck in that snow storm and could not get home for awhile. Did I read your fb right?
