Playing with my macro lens....

Today was spent preparing for the Scrapista retreat class but also took some time out for picture taking with my macro lens. It is so interesting to me how it does that line across for the sweet spot of focus when doing the up close ones. I'm going to have to play with it a lot more to get familiar with what the effect will be based on how far away I am.

Very cool and beautiful shots! A macro lens may be in my future too. I am having a hard time figuring out my positioning with the standard lens on my new camera. I love macros!

OOOH I love it! I have a macro setting on my camera but it is so not the same as a macro lens! I particularly love your first picture!

Laurel thank you for all your kind comments you left today. Yes, we must live fairly close. I have my air on too - it is getting a little hot for my taste, although in the shade it is not too bad. We just had our back porch enlarged and screened in. I am loving it!!! I have a daybed on it and have slept out there a few night. Just lovely.
I think my husband will give it a try tonight!! :) It is amazing how LOUD the birds are at 6am!!!!

Have a great weekend!!

Hi Laurel, received "Imagine" today. It is even prettier in person. Love all the texture. Thank you too for all the goodies you enclosed.
