Well, this weekend was not long enough as usual. There are always so many things I need to do and so many things I want to do so I did a little of both and not nearly enough of both. Friday night was a nice evening with friends and laughter and watching some beautiful children at play.
Saturday was a pleasant day spent in my scrap room. I had visions of creating all kinds of stuff but only managed one thing, my first altered composition book. It is not over the top like my original plan but I like it anyway. I may still play with it some but we shall see. I did manage to create the butterfly bead section on my own with wire and some of the beads I've collected from the Plaid Outlet closing. I haven't decided it if will be someone's Christmas present or if it will be the first item set aside to sell at some point.
Saturday was also a beautiful sunny day so I took a few pictures of deck flowers that mom planted. She outdid herself this year with such pretty bright colors. She usually does softer shades which are pretty too but I'm partial to the vibrant shades.
Sunday I wanted to create some more but ended up doing some of those things I needed to do like peel rubber stamps off the wood blocks to put the hook and loop tape on them. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. All my stamps (at least for now) are in one notebook rather than taking up tons of shelf space. That way I can have lots more stamps. ;-)
Well, ttfn.

Hi Laurel,
I love your pictures! I couldn't see the other picture of the project you worked on this weekend, but I am sure it was pretty, too.
We enjoyed mania, but it was rather quiet without the life of the party there(you and Rebecca). Plus, there were only three other people in our room. Unless, you count the CRAZY lady that had at least three personalities of her own. LOL! No, I am NOT talking about my sister for once!
I love your composition book! Well done.
